    Who We Are

    The Downtown Lexington Management District is a property tax improvement district responsible for improving the downtown area. The District is managed by a 15-member board composed of local business owners, residents and other downtown stakeholders. Board Meetings are open to the public, and are now held the first Wednesday of every other month at 8:30 am.

    NOTICE is hereby given that The Downtown Lexington Management District board of directors will hold their next board meeting on Wednesday, March 6 , 2024, at 8:30 a.m. This meeting will be in-person and will be held at McBrayer PLLC (201 E Main St #900, Lexington, KY 40507).

    What We Do

    The District puts tax dollars to work to enhance downtown through beautification, safety and marketing efforts. The goal is to foster economic growth, renew interest in the area by businesses, residents and visitors, and ultimately increase property values
